Placement Methedology

Placement of Trainees :

  • a. On receiving information file, the placement office announces the requirement of the company, asking interested students to submit their resumes or marks criteria, which are then handed over to the company.
  • b. The company, after short listing candidates from the application pool and eligibility data file sent to them, sends back the list of short listed candidates to the Placement Office at the earliest.
  • c. A mutually convenient date is finalized for the selection process/ campus recruitment drive.
  • d. After completion of the selection process, the company is required to furnish the final list of selected students preferably on the same day, or as soon as possible.
  • e. The company sends offer letters to the Placement Office for handing them over to the students. Offer acceptances (from the students) are received and sent to the company by the Placement Office.

Identifying and Contacting potential employers : For each employability program, Parshav Education Educare’s Placement Cell identifies potential employees for the trained students. This is done by mapping the expected exit profile of the students of the program with the job profile of openings by various companies.Once you’ve identified employers that interest you, conduct some research to determine what types of positions exist within the organization. Are you interested in and qualified for any of these positions? If so, conduct additional research to determine the company’s needs, profile and culture so that you can market yourself effectively

  • Local Placement Team – This team works for local level placement opportunities for the trained Trainees.
  • Regional Placement Team – This team works at a regional level to connect with small and medium enterprises and their industry associations to provide them employees.
  • Central Placement Team – The centralized placement activity has resulted in maximizing resources of placement teams providing ample opportunities for students and logistic convenience to the corporates. This team’s charter would be to connect with major employers in specific high growth sectors where large companies have a pan-India imprint and are expanding rapidly. It will strive to engage these companies in alliances for understanding their manpower requirements, aligning mobilisation plans with these requirements and finally enabling employment of students trained at Our centres.

Establishing connects with employers : The Placement Cell will contact the potential employers. The program objectives, student profiles, expected exit profiles, benefits of taking part in the placement process for the program and salary expectations of the students are shared with the employers. The Placement Cell also seeks information on the number and nature of openings which the employers may fulfill through this program to assist in the creation of a large funnel. Finally the employers are asked to share their recruitment process information so that students can be prepared for the same.

Organizing Placements : Depending on the nature of the program, the placement process could be through a placement fair, Campus activity. In the job fair approach the local centres arrange the infrastructure and mobilise students for day long placements. The Placement Cell ensures the participation of a large number of employers in these fairs. The employers conduct interviews and issue employment letters to selected candidates.

The placement process is tracked to ensure that each student gets to appear in a minimum of 3 interviews, preferably from different types of organisations. So far, less than 15% need the 3rd interview. MG Career Park has a vast experience in this area and would be able to mobilise resources to create capacities
